What We Do – Millstone Ministry
Helping Victims Become Survivors
At Millstone Ministry, what we do goes far beyond awareness. We walk alongside individuals impacted by human trafficking with compassion, discretion, and unwavering commitment—meeting people where they are and helping them move toward safety, healing, and hope.
Through advocacy, direct support, and street outreach, including Matison’s Love Bags, we provide tangible care to individuals both seeking to exit exploitation and those still “in the life.” Each Love Bag is a lifeline—offering basic necessities, dignity, connection, and a reminder that they are seen, valued, and not alone.
Our services are survivor-centered and depend on available resources, partnerships, and immediate needs. Advocacy and support may include:
- Safe transportation
- Substance use, mental health, and medical vetting
- Emergency and long-term relocation services when necessary
- Victims’ rights advocacy
- Witness protection support
- Mentorship and ongoing encouragement
- Assistance with personal and basic needs
- Court accompaniment and legal support
- Job assistance and employment networking
Our goal is not just rescue—but restoration. We work to remove barriers, restore dignity, and help individuals rebuild their lives at their own pace, with compassion and respect.
